1 Description It occurs as a Clear, colorless or practically colorless liquid.
2 Identification

(A) A metallic silver is produced either in the form of a finely divided, gray precipitate, or as a bright, metallic mirror on the sides of the test tube.
(B) A permanent, deep-red color appears.
3 Solubility It is miscible with water and with alcohol.
4 Acidity Not more than 10.0 mL of 0.1 N sodium hydroxide is consumed.
5 Content of Methanol Not less than 9.0% and not more than 15.0% (v/v).
6 Assay Not less than 34.5% by weight of Formaldehyde.

PACKAGING

MOLFORM™ is packed in HDPE drum or IBC packing having barcoded label.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 3 years. It is stored in a tightly closed container in a cool, well-ventilated area.
