Application: MOLFORM™ NH4 is commonly used as an analytical reagent and as a mild reducing agent in catalytic transfer hydrogenation reactions, particularly with palladium on carbon (Pd/C). It enables the reduction of functional groups such as nitro compounds, carbonyls and alkenes in drug synthesis and fine chemical production. In pharmaceutical applications, it is also used as a buffering and pH-adjusting agent in certain formulations and as a processing aid in the preparation of oral liquids, solutions and other pharmaceutical products where controlled pH and formulation stability are required.

The shelf life is 5 years. It is preserved in well-closed containers.
